Sometimes things may occur in our living situations that we can’t predict. If your having difficulty at home, from having trouble managing your finances to finding yourself homeless, we’re here to find the right advice that suits you.
If you find yourself homeless and need emergency housing the first place to go to are Housing options on Derwent Street. Depending on the student’s individual circumstances, they will either be referred to one of the hostels listed, or put on the housing list.

At the SAC we have further information about the requirements of each housing association and their specific requirements. It’s advisable to come talk to us first, so we can help look at your options and contact the relevant associations on your behalf.
It is important to remember not to struggle in silence if you’re finding life a little difficult when it comes to where you’re living. The environment you live in can determine some of the success you achieve in your studies… So remember, don’t wait and worry, come and talk to us!
