Not Happy? Tell Us!! 

Hey I'm Josh, your V.P. of Representation and Democracy. My role is to make sure your voice is heard at College, so that the Students' Union are able to bring change to matters arising throughout the year.

This is why we set up Learner Voice Forums throughout the term. A gathering of students, Exec members and DCSU staff to put forward any issues and concerns to College management (SLT Rep)

Did you know that you could potentially change something at College that will benefit you?

Is canteen food to high?

Do you need longer course work deadlines?

Do you want water tanks in your class rooms?

Do you want a bigger social space area?

Whatever you want, we can offer you the chance to get it!

You don't need to feel worried about speaking up in these Forums as we respect all ideas, no matter how extreme they are. If you don't feel confident enough to have your say, don't panic! You ARE able to write down what you think needs to be changed and we will represent your views and speak up for you!

Nick Billinge, Mark Rugman and myself will chair the forums and will stand by you when putting ideas across to the SLT Rep. Remember this is a great chance to open up and tell people who care about your welfare at College.

We will make sure minutes are taken down, and displayed here on our website so you and your fellow students can see what was said and what will be done about it. They will also be sent out to the others in attendance and displayed in social areas. So make sure you are available to come to your next Forum!

Remember if you are a Course Representative you must be present in order to give all feedback which you have gathered from students on your course!
