We will all encounter drugs throughout our lives, whether for legal medicinal purposes, or illegal substance use and abuse. The way to shape your future in the healthiest possible way is by knowing the facts, and knowing how you feel about the issues of drugs.

Drug use can seriously affect your life, and the lives of others around you, for example:
• Physical and mental health can seriously decline, and simple everyday tasks become a real effort after heavy drug use
• Relationships with friends and family members can change due to the breakdown of trust
• Money worries can become a big problem, paying debts from drug use can become impossible as use gets heavier
• To pay for the habit of drug use can lead to dishonest means of getting money, stealing and dead end jobs being the only option in some cases
